I arrived at the opening night (last Thursday) of the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) reclining on a platter carried by a couple of sexy Can Can dancers. Once the scantily clad boys pranced off, I hit the red carpet with a vengeance, interviewing filmmakers, fashion makers and the nice lady who put together the goodie bags for the rich people.
The red carpet highlights included a happy (and slightly drunk) Billy O’Neill who kept saying that he loved me; wine tasting other people’s wine; meeting actor Tab Hunter, who at 83, is still pin-up worthy; vamping with hot chicks and bantering with Paul Feig, director of the opening-night comedy film “Spy,” who looked debonair in his double breasted “vest-within-a-suit” suit.
See it all here!
And here are some scenes from SIFF’s opening night. Photos by Ernie Sapiro.
