Mayor at Civic Cocktail, March 2

The March Civic Cocktail will feature a conversation with Seattle Mayor Ed Murray and a panel discussion on the city’s homelessness crisis.

Join us at 5:30 p.m., Wed., March 2 at the Palace Ballroom, 2100 Fifth Ave, where Murray will sit down with host Joni Balter for a one-on-one discussion on topics ranging from balancing equity and growth to working with a new City Council to addressing the city’s homelessness crisis.

Then, Seattle City Councilmember Mike O’Brien; Daniel Malone, executive director of the Downtown Emergency Service Center; and Cindy Pierce of the Neighborhood Safety Alliance, will participate in a panel discussion on what government and community organizations are doing to combat homelessness.

Journalists David Kroman, of Crosscut, and Marcus Green, of South Seattle Emerald, will also join the discussion.
