5th Avenue Spotlight Night: Damn Yankees
The 5th Avenue’s David Armstrong leads an engaging discussion about the musical comedy Damn Yankees, a devishly sexy race for the pennant. Adapted from Douglass Wallop’s 1954 novel The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant, the musical tells the story of an aging baseball fan who makes a deal with the Devil so his beloved hometown team can beat the Yankees in the race for the pennant.
