In honor of Black History Month, The Black Heritage Society of Washington State, Inc. pays tribute to Northwest Pioneers in Media with a spirited panel hosted at the Museum of History and Industry. Among the Honorees are: Chris Bennett, owner of Kris Bennett Broadcasting and the Medium newspaper; Fitzgerald Beaver (in Memoriam) of The Facts newspaper; Frank P. Barrow, Operations Manager and talk show host of KRIZ Radio; and Connie Thompson and Jimm Brown, both of KOMO TV.
