Don’t miss SEATTLE CHANNEL’s exciting fall season that debuts Tuesday, Sept. 15

SEATTLE CHANNEL, the nation’s best government TV station, kicks off its fall season on Tuesday, Sept. 15 with another year inspiring, educating and entertaining Seattle viewers. Whether you watch us on Channel 21, stream us on www.seattlechannel.org, or podcast us on iTunes, set your calendar for local TV’s weekly must-sees: City Inside/Out with C.R. Douglas, Art Zone with Nancy Guppy (now on Fridays!), CityStream, Seattle Voices with Eric Liu and Community Stories.

On Tuesday, Sept. 15, 10 p.m. (at a special time due to a Council meeting), Eric Liu’s guest on Seattle Voices is Dr. Garrison Bliss, founder of Qliance Medical Group, an innovative medical practice that provides low-cost, primary care but doesn’t accept insurance.

On Thursday, Sept. 17, 7 p.m., CityStream, Seattle’s magazine show, features a report from Nepal by Penny LeGate on a Seattle photographer’s mission to change the image of this Asian nation’s disabled population.

On Friday, Sept. 18, 7 p.m., C.R. Douglas and the City Inside/Out crew, sprint into the fall’s political season with an in-depth look at the races for Seattle School Board.

Later that same night, Friday, Sept. 18, 8 p.m., Nancy Guppy takes Art Zone to new heights at a new time and day when she features art from sculptor Julie Lindell, interviews rising Hollywood star, Joel McHale, and profiles the beautiful work of painter and muralist Andrew Morrison.

On Monday, Sept. 21, 7 p.m., Community Stories, the show that documents Seattle’s rich mosaic of cultures, presents: Hassan Guyo–A Warrior’s Journey. As the first person from his remote Kenyan village to attend college in the U.S., Hassan Guyo never forgot where he came from. Now Guyo has created a non-profit foundation that builds schools and runs a mobile medical clinic near his birthplace.
