The future of the Battery Street Tunnel is unknown
On July 24, 2009, WSDOT said that the Battery Street Tunnel does not figure in its plans to replace the Alaskan Way Viaduct. WSDOT plans to give the Battery Street Tunnel to the City of Seattle.[More]
